Responsible for strategic alignment of Product Lifecycle Management, Processes, Agile Transition and offshoring activities. Defined and implemented large scale agile transition, reducing development cycle times - Established offshore supplier setup, increasing stability and quality, reducing development time - Drove Agile across all Siemens Healthcare business units, leading to better alignment - Team lead for intellectual property and medical standardization (DICOM and IHE)

Responsible to build up the software department at SMMR from scratch. Hired, supervised and mentored engineers, coached them to become team leader. Guided and lead development of SW projects with headquarters.

Lead several SW development projects (~150 developer) spread across Germany, USA and India. • Planned and tracked resources and costs within budget for major projects • Coordinated the requirements engineering with marketing and customer • Set up the test and integration with multiple hardware systems, resulting in on time delivery • Developed and introduced software engineering process, scored level 3 at CMMI assessment

Responsible for development and integration of image processing algorithms (C/C++) and advanced imaging applications for stroke and functional MRI. Development results are still integral part of each Siemens MR scanner.

SW-Developer of software applications for optical quality control with X-Ray and optical high-speed cameras in Fortran, C/C++ on Windows and Lynx platform.
